Ben started racing downhill in the 2005 / 6 Winter Wet & Wild series in Innerleithen, Scotland and has not looked back since. In 2006 Ben was asked if he would ride for Moonglu, his local bike shop, and their invaluable support enabled him to establish himself as a promising rider in the youth category. Upon entering the juniors in 2008 he was offered a place on the Ticket2Ride / Descent Gear Team and is now entering his 3rd season with them. 2009 was a good year for Ben with 10 podium finishes culminating with his entry into the expert category for the 2010 season. Ben can be found at races all over the UK usually with team mates Steve Felstead and John Young.
